Coaching is a partnership where I engage my clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to take action to maximise both their own potential or situation and that of others. As a dyslexic thinker, powered by ADHD, with extensive lived and professional experience of working with other neurodiverse traits, I help leaders and followers understand, work with and lean into the power of neurodiverse traits. I do this by helping them leverage different mindsets, approaches and strategies.
Team coaching and board development
I approach team coaching and board development focusing on three fundamentals for high performing leadership: Team purpose, team culture and team effectiveness. At the heart of which is building trusted relationships, shifting mindsets and cultivating healthy leadership behaviours to achieve both strategic and professional personal goals.
Research, writing, speaking
Known as The Dynamics Doctor, I specialise in the psychology of human behaviour that drives team culture and the emotional climate that affects interpersonal relationships, psychological well-being and performance. I help leaders and teams understand how their culture, emotional climate and relationship dynamics are co-created. My acclaimed doctorate focussed on the impact of coaching on leader emotions in the context of organisational relationship dynamics. My research has already been granted awards, most recently an award of excellence from the Harvard McLean Institute of Coaching and The Janice Cook award from Oxford Brookes Business School. My work is published in both academic journals and popular press. I am also delighted to be invited as a keynote and SME speaker in a wide variety of leadership and coaching forums.
