Leadership Programme

Congratulations on being selected as a candidate to participate in this leadership programme. Please read the following information and complete the application form below to confirm your intention to participate.

You have been nominated because you are passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people. This leadership programme will support you in developing new skills to respond to the strategic challenges that are being faced in the children and young people’s mental health workforce.

Course Overview

The programme will consist of six live online modules, self-directed learning relating to each module and a team based coursework assignment to progress a strategic project focussing on workforce challenges. Throughout the programme you will receive peer group and coaching support. The programme will culminate with teams presenting their business case for change (based on the coursework) to a Pan London executive strategic group.

In order to participate fully and successfully in the programme, you will be required to attend the scheduled modules and coaching/peer review sessions and commit time to completing the self-directed learning and coursework. Please review the figure below which provides programme dates and gives an indication of the learning hours you will be required to commit to:

Estimated Learning Hours

Approximate commitment over full programme duration: 55 – 70 hrs

    Total time: 18 to 20 hours
  • Coaching Sessions
    Total time: 7 hours

    Total time: 10 to 15 hours
    (Approximately 1 – 3 hrs per module)
  • Team based coursework assignment
    Total time: 20 to 25 hours
    (Approximately 1 hr per week)
